CLA Conference 2015

Registration for CLA’s 117th annual conference is now open!

This year’s conference is November 5-8, 2015 in beautiful Pasadena, CA. The theme for this year’s conference is Reimagine/Reinvent and in addition to over 125 great programs and preconferences, inspiring speakers, awards honoring the best in our profession, great library vendors, and some just plain fun social events (can you say Battledecks and Librarians Got Talent?), for the first time in library conference history we are going to have a Night Track. Yes, CLA is going “After Dark” on Friday November 6th into Saturday November 7th!

For those who want the traditional library conference experience, there will be a full slate of programs from 8:30am through 5:00pm. AND for those among us who thrive at night (or just can’t get enough library conference), we will start up again at 7:00pm with a kickoff program featuring library visionary, Ben Bizzle, and more (unique) programs until late into the evening.

If all of this wasn’t enough, Sunday the 8th is Sunday FUNday. Say that without breaking into a smile! This is a great opportunity to network with your old (and new) library friends and do some things very uniquely Southern California-ish.

Oh, and did I mention the Midnight Cat Video Film Festival?  Nevermind, come to the 2015 California Library Association Conference and experience this (and everything else “Reimagine / Reinvent” has to offer) for yourself. And in the meantime, we will reserve a seat at the cat video film festival and breakfast burrito bar just for you…

If you have questions or comments about conference, please send us an email at info@cla-net.org.

We look forward to seeing you in Pasadena to Reimagine / Reinvent in November!
