Travel

Welcome to the City of Pasadena! There are many affordable ways to get you to, from, and around Pasadena, whether your destination is blocks away, to Downtown LA, or into the far reaches of the San Gabriel Valley.

Conference Location

Pasadena Convention Center
300 E. Green Street, Pasadena, CA 91101

Bob Hope Burbank Airport

The closest airport to Pasadena is the Bob Hope (Burbank) Airport. (Around 15 miles away.) Southwest has frequent flights from SAC, SJ, and OAK. (Unfortunately nothing direct from SF, SD, Fresno or the Monterey area.)

Getting Here

To the Pasadena Convention Center from Burbank airport is $25 by a shuttle (you will need to book ahead of time.  The same shuttle services that serve LAX also serve Burbank), approximately $55 by taxi, and approximately $30 by Uber. (Note however that although Uber can drop you back to the Burbank airport’s curb, you need to arrange to pick up Uber in the airport’s short term parking lot and the parking fee will add a little on to your fare.)

LAX Airport

Getting Here

For those who do fly into LAX and take the Flyaway shuttle to Union Station and want to continue by public transportation to the Convention Center, at Union Station get on the Gold Line metro heading towards Pasadena.  Fare is $1.75.  At the eighth stop (Del Mar), exit.  The Del Mar station is on Arroyo Parkway.  Walk north (in the directions of the mountains) one block to Cordova.  Turn right and walk two block and you will come to the Pasadena Sheraton and Convention Center.  (The Pasadena Hilton is another two blocks up Cordova.  For the Westin Pasadena, when you see the Pasadena Hilton, head north on Los Robles Blvd.  The Westin is three blocks up on Los Robles.)

LAX Flyaway

Don’t feel like renting a car and dealing with LA traffic? No problem! When flying in from LAX, the LAX Flyaway will pick up passengers from the airport and bring them to Union Station, where you can conveniently catch the Metro Rail Gold Line into the heart of Pasadena:
