Planning Committee & Program Selection

Low-tech has its place in the program selection process, too. Behold! The Wall of Selection!

Program Selection

Conference proposal selection process was again crowd-sourced this year. Approximately 180 proposals were received and 90 of them were put up to the community vote. Over 420 people voted and we received over 3300 votes! To check out the final results, visit this year’s crowdsourcing site.

The industrious Conference Planning Committee made their final selections based on the programs that you voted up. An all-day meeting at Berkeley Public Library yielded the diverse final program, with a total of 85 programs and 35 poster sessions.

The CLA conference is a great way to develop professionally. There are so many quality sessions to learn what other library systems are doing.
