• Over 140 programs and workshops on a variety of topics.
• Exhibit Hall opening at 12:00 noon on Thursday so you have extra time to interact with our vendors and sponsors.
• Thursday night Keynote Speaker will be renowned author Steve Pemberton, who will share his highly motivational message about believing in your dreams, rising above obstacles, creating opportunities for others, and persevering.
• Following the Keynote address, an Awards Dinner will feature a variety of tasty appetizers and treats, followed by a ceremony that will spotlight the awardees for all of their accomplishments and contributions to our profession.
• For those that weren’t able to attend JCLC, we have a track of JCLC programs that attendees can enjoy straight from that popular conference.
• Friday morning we will also have a panel discussion with Palaces of the People author Eric Klinenberg and USC Professor Ken Breisch to talk about the impact our libraries have on the social infrastructure of our communities.
• Another fabulous Night Track to learn, collaborate and have an extraordinary time together!
• The return of the Rose Tea in celebration of the Beatty and CYRM Awards on Saturday afternoon.
• And last, but definitely not least, thanks to a grant from the California State Library, scholarships for a few hundred support staff to register for conference for free!
